Our Red Adventurine Shire Horse is modelled upon a creation of Faberge that was given by Queen Alexandra to Edward VII. It represents a horse that lived on the Royal Estate of Sandringham and the original is treasured in the present Queen's Royal Collection. Red Aventurine is a semi-precious type of quartz with inflections like spangles in the stone. The original Faberge horse was made from this material. The eyes are faceted Blue Sapphires set in 18kt gold collets. This is an amazing masterpiece also available in Red Aventurine, Green Adventurine, Labradorite, Obsidian and White Lakme Jade. Only 6 of these horses have been made.
