Our Black Obsidian Shire Horse is modelled upon a creation of Faberge that was given by Queen Alexandra to Edward VII. It represents a horse that lived on the Royal Estate of Sandringham and the original is treasured in the present Queen's Royal Collection. The stone is like dark crystal with deep currents of color. The eyes are faceted Rubies set in 18kt gold collets. This sculpture also available in Red Aventurine, Labradorite, Green Aventurine, Red Jasper and White Lakme Jade. Only 6 of these horses have been made.
